Working with Kaizen Partnership, we have put together a toolkit for Waltham Forest Council to help officers, councillors, residents and other agencies become more confident in how to engage residents.
The toolkit uses the experience of testing different engagement methods in four pilot areas: Blackhorse Lane, Highams Park, Lea Bridge Road and Priory Court Estate in spring 2016.
In commissioning this work, the council's aim was to:
improve the way they engage residents in planning and delivering new developments
build an understanding of the range of different engagement methods that can be used
understand what works in different parts of the borough and for different types of project.
