This report describes Social Life’s contribution to the ESRC research project “Super-diverse streets: Economies and spaces of urban migration in UK Cities”. We investigated how traders and local businesses in Birmingham and Leicester impact on the changing city, both through their own collective actions and their interactions with other local organisations and institutions.
We wanted to understand how the on-going experience of migration, and ethnic minority entrepreneurship, shape our streets and broader urban landscape.
The Super-diverse streets project is led by Dr Suzanne Hall from LSE Cities.
