Witton Lodge

Social Life is working with the Centre for the New Midlands as a Research and Evaluation Partner for Witton Lodge Community Association.

Our work between January and March 2025 will create a pilot place-based evaluation framework to measure the impact of the association’s work at neighbourhood level. It will also inform the development of a strategic framework and become the starting point for a three-year plan for monitoring and development.

This work is aligned with the Decent Neighbourhood Standard stream of work that the Centre for the New Midlands has developed.  It will also will build on the more than a decade work by Social Life testing social sustainability frameworks. We are working together to enable the exchange of expertise and build on our complementary strengths.

The Witton Lodge Decent Neighbourhood Standard will be a pilot case, with a view to a longer term project  and collaboration for further developing, refining and testing the Standard, while embedding and deploying participatory and co-design approaches throughout the longer timeframe.
