Social Life was commissioned by Sutton Council to create a framework for measuring the strengths and weaknesses of local neighbourhoods in the borough. This was tested in Beddington, an area to the east of the borough which is a focus for regeneration.
We used our social sustainability framework as the starting point.
The aim was to create a tool that Sutton can use in other neighourhoods in the future, to see how well they are faring and as a benchmark for their programmes. The Sutton Social Sustainability toolkit can be accessed here.
