Social Life has been working with Age UK Lewisham and Southwark to understand the impact that their Food2You service has had on its customers, and explore an alternative system of food delivery. Food2You is a shopping delivery service available to older people living in Southwark who need support in the community.
This is part of our pro bono work for 2022.
Social Life is training the Food2You team in research methods and supporting them throughout the year. We are putting co-learning and sharing of expertise at the centre of this project. The Food2You team's knowledge and rapport with their customers will be leveraged to understand the service and the context in which it operates.
The objective is understand customers’ experiences and to explore how to increase access to food while providing a holistic, sustainable service that empowers older people.
