Social Life has been asked by Notting Hill Genesis to measure the social impact of the regeneration of the Aylesbury Estate. We are returning to the estate in Autumn 2020 to ask residents about their lives, their perceptions of living in the area, how the regeneration is affecting quality of life and the impact of COVID-19.
We will take our earlier work looking at everyday life on the Aylesbury, published in 2017, as our starting point. We will compare how residents are experiencing life in the area now, compared to five years ago. We will speak to residents face to face where possible, in line with public heath guidelines to keep the people we interview and our researchers safe.
